AM - 6 miles with SD track club in Balboa Park, hilly route.

Noon - got certified to climb / belay on the rock climbing wall at the gym. Did NOT like climbing. Unlikely to use this certification again!

PM - 3 miles commuting to the tire store to pick up car.

Climbing, even indoors when the chances of something going wrong is pretty low, can still be pretty scary! I freak out :-)

I did not find it relaxing or enjoyable in any way. I should count it as an interval workout with all the spikes of adrenaline I experienced (both climbing and belaying!). I used to climb when I was in high school - back when I was invincible. Being from the middle of a cornfield in Illinois, our climbing gym was in an old grain silo.
